- Print the puzzle and key. Give your players a pencil and a place to write their answer.
- Match each symbol to its letter on the Pigpen key. Pay attention to the shape, its direction and whether it contains a dot. Write each letter in order to reveal the message.
- Read the full message together. If you’re using it in a hunt, check the answer first and prepare the next clue in the location it describes.
A helpful hint: A dot changes the letter. Check the dotted and undotted parts of the key separately, and keep each symbol the same way up.
